Inside:

Check attic for leaks

Check attic fan and insulation

Check sinks, toilets and drains for leaks

Check crawl space for moisture and leaks

Fix slow-draining sinks and tubs

Check trim and woodwork for cracks or pulling away

Inspect and replace caulk in the bathroom

Flush and refill hot water heater

Check and clean air registers and grills

Check dryer and exhaust vents

Check refrigerator door seal and vacuum coils

Clean and adjust or reverse ceiling fans

Outside:

Clean the grill

Clean patio furniture

Inspect and clean the gutters

Clean out window wells

Check window caulking and weather stripping

Remove window screens and put in storm windows

Check house exterior for cracking or peeling

Wash windows

Power wash house, driveway, steps, patio and deck

Check for missing shingles

Test and replace exterior lights

Check chimney and chimney cap

Lawn:

Spot-seed and fall fertilize

Clean up fallen limbs and leaves

Lawn aeration

Drain and store hoses and irrigation systems

Cut-back plants, tidy up flower beds and plant bulbs
