    Whether you’re looking for someone to handle a single handyman repair or you want to take property maintenance off your plate completely, finding the right company to trust with your home can be a challenge. I’m Arturo Lopez, the local owner and operator of TruBlue West Houston, and I launched this business because I saw an opportunity to provide people in this community with a professional, trustworthy, one-call-does-it-all house care company. TruBlue is a full-service company that provides handyman, house cleaning, emergency repairs, yard/lawn care and seasonal services that are perfect for busy families, seniors and anyone who wants the comforts of their own home without worrying about how to maintain critical property maintenance. We also offer a monthly House Care Plus program, which enables our clients to hire TruBlue to provide custom, monthly maintenance tailored for your needs. We work with homeowners (and their families), realtors and rental property owners with a wide range of needs. From quickly getting homes move-in ready and keeping them maintained to checking air filters and leaking sinks. Commercial services are also available for our business clients needs. At TruBlue West Houston, we serve people and properties in Hilshire Village, Spring Branch, Memorial, Piney Point, Hedwig Village, Tanglewood and the surrounding areas. TruBlue is a locally-owned and operated company backed by an experienced, national franchise. When my dad was diagnosed with aggressive dementia, my family and I did everything we could to make sure he was as happy and as comfortable as possible. Seeing my mother care for him and their home gave me a first-hand glimpse of the challenges seniors face as they age in place. I realized then that there was a need for a company like TruBlue to help people care for their family’s homes. We kept my dad at home until caring for him and the house started to negatively impact my mom’s health. I believe that if we’d had a company like TruBlue to take care of our family home, he could have stayed home longer. That’s the kind of difference I want to make for the people in my own community with TruBlue, taking the burden of honey-do repairs, preventative maintenance and quality of life improvements off your plate so that time and energy can be spent enjoying your loved ones. I have a Master’s degree in International Business and a Master’s of Finance. I own TruBlue with the support of my wife, Elena, who is the CFO for her family’s business, as well as our two children – Gabriel and Alejandro. My sister, Linda Lopez, with 15 years’ experience in Property Management, runs the back-office operations of the business. TruBlue isn’t just about providing handyman, maid services, and lawn care to the people in our community – although we are certainly here to do that – it’s about helping people enjoy their life at home, especially seniors. We are a part of this community and we’re doing this in honor of the people we love, like my father. My dependable, high-quality team does handyman repairs, yard work, seasonal services and minor home renovations. We also work with homeowners, realtors and rental property owners or managers who need to get homes move-in ready quickly and keep them maintained, as well as business clients. TruBlue also offers a suite of senior-focused services, including the ability to do Senior Home Safety Assessments and make age-friendly renovations. Our monthly/quarterly program, House Care Plus, can help seniors (and busy families) enjoy the comforts and convenience of owning a home without worrying about the maintenance hassles. I am looking forward to expanding the business and offering maid and cleaning services in the near future. Of all the business opportunities out there, I was drawn to TruBlue because of my own experience with my parents. My mother passed away in 2011 followed by my father in 2012 and, in those final years, finding ways to care for them – and their home – became increasingly complicated. They both wanted to age in place at home and I shared the responsibility of caring for them and their home with my siblings. However, with busy families and work schedules, it was difficult to keep up with maintaining the home while tending to my parents as well. With TruBlue, we can help seniors live safely and comfortably wherever they call home while providing that peace of mind for families. We can take care of the property so they can focus on caring for the person. Our technicians are background checked, experienced professionals and we offer a guarantee on our work. I am looking forward to bringing a new level of customer service to this industry and providing a trustworthy one-call-does-it-all solution for seniors and families. My team works in Canyon Lakes, Coles Crossing, Copperfield, Cypress, Bridgeland, Black Horse Ranch, Fairfield, Hockley, Lakewood Forest, Longwood Village, Norchester, Towne Lake and the surrounding areas.
